Drone photos of 'Fort Metate': Dec 4, 2018

Here's a fort not on the Agua Fria plateau that seems to be a clear extension of the forts there, not only in its style of construction but its clear line-of-sight link to the 'Squaw Creek' fort, one of the biggest on the plateau to the west, and the only one with a perimeter wall, just like this fort has.

On a mountaintop above the fort is a lookout that scans all the way from the Bradshaw mountains and the Agua Fria plateau to the west, to the Lower Verder river and its settlements miles to the east.

Metate's perimeter wall was clearly carefully constructedits interior angles correspond with that of an octagon; 135°.
